Other states with Penn State plates

Note: Requirements, fees, and application procedures vary across states. Some plates are available directly through that state's DMV and others require application through a designated Penn State Alumni Association chapter.

Connecticut

Delaware

The custom Penn State plate for Delaware features the University shield and "We Are Penn State."

The special plate additional cost is a one–time state administration fee of $10 in addition to the normal state and county registration fees. An additional one–time handling fee of $40 goes to the Delaware Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association, half of which benefits the chapter's private student scholarship fund.

All active Delaware Chapter members are eligible to obtain a Delaware Penn State license plate. Note: Delaware Penn State license plate holders must maintain active standing in both the Delaware Chapter and the Penn State Alumni Association during each year they hold their Delaware Penn State plate. Failure to do so may result in revocation of the plate by the DMV.
